An apprenticeship with Micarna
Where do you want to go?
Your choice of career is an important decision for your future. The key questions you have to answer for yourself are:
What kind of an environment would you like to work in?
What do you enjoy doing?
Where do you see yourself in the future?
We would like to support you by showing you the various training opportunities on offer. This includes Mazubi, a special company within the company that enables our apprentices to implement their own, personal ideas.
What we expect from you
The Micarna Group strives to offer motivated young people a high-quality apprenticeship in an ideal working environment. For all of the ingredients for successful training to be in place, however, we expect you to demonstrate:
Do you meet these requirements? Then we really should meet!
What we offer you
The Micarna Group offers a huge range of learning opportunities that is being developed and enhanced on an ongoing basis. Right at the beginning you will benefit from an induction week together with other new apprentices, and afterwards you will be supervised throughout your apprenticeship by a coach who will assess your learning situation together with you on a regular basis. This will enable us to follow your progress and define new goals.
The Micarna Group is part of the Migros Group and offers its apprentices a wide range of discounts and benefits, including special rates at Migros Bank and Migros Club School. In addition to this, Micarna likes to promote the use of public transport and will give you a Half-Fare travelcard for the entire duration of your apprenticeship.
You will also enjoy excellent working conditions, with six weeks of holiday a year and inexpensive meals in our canteens, for example. Fun and action are also important to us – as an apprentice, you will be a member of our sports and leisure club, and every three years we organise a week-long camp for apprentices.
